Almost 50 years after the Beatles played their penultimate show at Dodger Stadium, Paul McCartney will return to the stadium on his latest summer tour.
McCartney arrives on August 10th as part of a stop on his internationally-acclaimed Out There Tour, featuring the most beloved songs from McCartney’s career with the Beatles, Wings and as a solo artist.
While McCartney has been revered as an artist for the past five decades, his career has seen great momentum in more recent years. Since 2003, McCartney has played outside the Coliseum, at Buckingham Palace, at the White House and at a free concert in Mexico City for over 400,000 fans.
His summer tour has taken him to 23 cities across the globe, from South America to Europe to Japan. Earlier this year, McCartney won five Grammy awards, including one for Best Rock Song, and was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his work with the Beatles.
This summer’s Dodger Stadium show will include massive screens, lasers, fireworks and unique video content to ensure that all fans have an unforgettable experience. Tickets will go on sale on May 5 at 10 am.
